It's been a while....

We have been super busy this past month and I cannot believe that summer is practically over. Shae has been doing great over the past month and is actively crawling all over the house. We had to lower her crib this past weekend since she has been pulling herself up and cruising around after she wakes up. She is pretty close to walking and has been cruising around on the couches, toys, etc for the past 2 weeks. We are working on her saying Dada since she is saying momma often. We are so lucky to have such a good baby. All four of her upper incisors have broke through this week and her two bottom incisors have been in for the last 2 months. So far she has liked every fruit/veggie she has tried, currently she is on peaches and loves them! We cannot wait for the fall to go apple/pumpkin picking; go on hayrides; attend football games; and enjoy walks through the woods as the leaves are changing. We are currently deciding on a halloween costumes....we may need to get two ;-)  Here are some pics from the past month!

Busy Summer...

It's been a while since we have posted. Things have been going well and summer is passing by so fast. Friday Shae had her first beach day where she got to put her toes in the sand. We put up a tent to keep her shaded since it was pretty hot, even near the water. I cannot believe that my baby is 5 & 1/2 months old already! She started to pull herself up onto things and can crawl  a few steps and then falls. Her favorite thing to do right now is play in her jump-a-roo and "walk" while holding onto Daddy's hands. We have started feeding a bunch of new foods. Her favorites so far are sweet potato, carrots and zucchini. She is still not a big fan of peas and yellow squash. Here are some pics from the beach.

Shae's Baptism

On June 24th, our little girl was baptized at St. Joseph's church in Toms River. She was a vvery good baby and did not even cry when the water was poured over her head. Afterwards we had family come back to the house to celebrate. We were lucky to have Poppy in town from California and my Aunt Pat, Uncle Steve, Auntie Terry and Sammy visit from New Hampshire. Shae's godfather Joe flew out from Minnesota for the week and it was great ti spend time together as well. Shaelynn is so lucky to have Aunt Kendall and Uncle Joe as her godparents.

Father's Day

Yesterday was Shaun's first father's day! We started out the day relaxing on the couch and taking some fun pictures of Shaelynn. Then Daddy went fishing for a little bit by the river before heading over to Aunt Kendall & Uncle Bobby's house to visit. For dinner, we stayed at our house to cook dinner for Grammy, Grandpa, and Nana.

The Children

The other day I realized how I do not have many pictures of Shaelynn with our furry kids. She loves the dogs and laughs everytime they start to wrestle. I guess she takes after her mom and dad's love for animals. We are lucky that so far both dogs and cats are good around Shae. I just hope this continues when she starts to crawl/walk.

Summer is here on the Jersey Shore!

These past two weekends have been perfect for hanging outside and enjoying the pool. Shae got to experience her first time in the pool. We had a few close friends and family over to relax and hang out. We cannot wait for this summer and to let Shaelynn experience a true Jersey Shore summer!

First Roadtrip!

Last weekend we traveled to Marlborough, Massachusetts to celebrate my grandma's 80th birthday. The surprise party was held at the Wayside Inn. Shae got to meet alot of her second/third cousins as well as her great aunt and uncles. Poor Shaelynn got scared when we all yelled "surprise!" as grandma came through the door. The only person that seemed to be able to calm her down that night was Daddy. Here are some pics from such a great night!
